There shall be one President of the Legislative Yuan and one Vice of whom elected by and from among all members of President, both the Yuan in a preparatory meeting held on the first day of the first session of each Legislative Yuan, and serving till the term of members The President of the Legislative Yuan shall preside over the expires. Yuan Sittings and be responsible for the Yuan administration. If the President is unable to attend to his or her duties, the Vice President shall act in his or her place.
The Legislative Yuan shall have a Secretary General who, appointed by the President, shall attend to the affairs of the Yuan and oversee the staff. The Legislative Yuan shall also have a Deputy Secretary General, holding the highest veteran rank of the 14th grade in the official system, to assist the Secretary General. The nomination of the Secretary General and the Deputy Secretary General by the President of the Legislative Yuan shall be reported to the Yuan Sitting before being sent to the State President for their definitive appointment.

Additionally, there shall be one to two advisers in the Legislative Yuan responsible for legislative and regulatory consultation, drafting and examination; 12 to 14 counselors shall be employed to take charge of drafting and examining laws and regulations and executing duties assigned by the President.
