H.E. Markéta Pekarová Adamová, President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic is devoted herself to defending core values of democracy, freedom and human rights, promoting exchanges of economic and trade, culture, technology and others between the Czech Republic and Taiwan, and strengthen parliamentary cooperation with tremendous contributions, which are greatly respected and admired by the entire people of Taiwan and the Legislative Yuan.

In accordance with the rules governing the awarding of the Medal of Honor for Parliamentary Diplomacy of the Legislative Yuan, the First-Class Medal of Honor shall be awarded in recognition of her lofty ideal, firm belief and outstanding achievements.
