Vice President Chiang continued by stating that the gathering at the Formosa Yacht Resort in Tainan today carries extraordinary significance. He likened the WTCC to a gigantic vessel leading Taiwan's navigation toward the world. While the journey is inevitably met with storms, the resilience demonstrated by Taiwanese businesspeople in the global market, including facing reciprocal tariffs from the US, exchange rate fluctuations, and international competition, shows their ability to rise to the challenge. He emphasized that this truly embodies the tenacious and unyielding spirit of the Taiwanese people, expressing confidence that no matter the difficulty, they will ultimately overcome every obstacle.
