Legislative Yuan President Daniel K.Y. Han welcomes the 2026 U.S.-based Air Force Families and Friends Delegation visiting Taiwan; President Han: Overseas compatriots are a steadfast pillar of support for the Republic of China.
On the afternoon of March 24, Legislative Yuan President Daniel K.Y. Han (韓國瑜) welcomed the 2026 U.S.-based Air Force Families and Friends Delegation visiting Taiwan at the Legislative Yuan chamber. Distinguished guests in attendance included Delegation Head Yang Hsien-Yi, Deputy Head Chen Ke-Feng, Chief Advisor Ke Kuang-Yueh, Ambassador Chang Kuo-Boug, along with more than 70 members of the delegation.
President Han first extended a sincere welcome to the U.S.-based Air Force families and friends on their return to Taiwan. He noted that overseas compatriots have always been an important and steadfast pillar of support for the Republic of China. He then took a group photo with the delegation in front of the chamber and exchanged commemorative gifts with them. President Han also wished everyone happiness and prosperity in the Year of the Horse.
The delegation subsequently toured the chamber. At the beginning of the afternoon plenary sitting, President Han introduced the delegation to the assembly, which responded with warm applause. The visit lasted approximately one hour, with a cordial and lively atmosphere throughout, and the day’s program concluded successfully. (2026/03/24)
