游錫堃：熱忱歡迎希米利特議長率團訪台，預祝此行圓滿順利

游院長伉儷今(22)日下午5時55分在本院林志嘉秘書長、林晨富處長、外交部吳釗燮部長、歐洲司姚金祥司長、禮賓處李志強處長、駐立陶宛台灣代表處黃鈞耀大使及立陶宛駐台代表盧思融(Paulius Lukauskas) 陪同下，赴桃園國際機場迎接立陶宛國會議長閣下希米利特(Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen)訪問團一行。
Accompanied by Secretary General Lin Jih-jia, Director Kevin C.F. Lin of the Department of International Affairs of the Legislative Yuan, Foreign Minister Jaushieh Joseph Wu, Director General Vincent Chin-Hsiang Yao of the Department of European Affairs, Director General Tom Chih-chiang Lee of the Department of Protocol, Ambassador Eric Huang of Taiwanese Representative Office in Lithuania, Representative Paulius Lukauskas of the Lithuanian Trade Representative Office, President YOU and Madame YOU welcome Speaker Čmilytė-Nielsen and her delegation at Taoyuan International Airport at 5:55 p.m. on October 22.
班機抵達後，游院長伉儷一行在桃園國際機場國賓門迎接，首先由游院長夫人獻上具立陶宛國旗意象之花束，接續由院長簡單致歡迎詞表示，非常高興迎接希米利特議長閣下來台訪問，他特別感謝去(2022)年7月21日率跨黨派國會外交訪問團到立陶宛時，受到議長的熱情接待，經過1年3個月後，議長在繁忙的公務中撥冗率團訪台，令他非常感動，院長最後祝福議長一行此次訪問圓滿順利。
When the flight arrived, President YOU and Madame YOU and government officials welcomed the delegation at gate of Taoyuan International Airport. Madame YOU presented the flower bouquet with the colors of the national flag of the Republic of Lithuania. Followed by President YOU’s remarks to extend a warm welcome to Speaker Čmilytė-Nielsen. He thanked her warm hospitality when he led a cross-party parliamentary delegation to Lithuania on July 21, 2022. After 15 months, President YOU was very touched to see her and her delegation to Taiwan despite her busy schedule. President YOU wished her and the delegation a fruitful and successful visit.
雙方隨後移步機場國賓室簡單寒喧交流，希米利特議長表示係第一次訪台，受到院長伉儷及外交部吳部長等熱忱接機，非常感謝，並期待明後兩天再見面交流。
Both sides proceeded to the VIP room for further conversations. Speaker Čmilytė-Nielsen stated this was her first visit to Taiwan. She was thankful for the warm welcome of President YOU, Madame YOU, Foreign Minister Wu and others. She looked forward to the meetings in the following two days.
接機儀式簡單隆重，議長訪團一行於下午6時30分驅車赴台北下榻旅館。
The welcoming ceremony concluded at 6:30 p.m. and the delegation proceeded to the hotel in Taipei City.
