立法院韓國瑜院長接見「泰國皇家警政訪問團」 韓國瑜：期待台泰雙邊擴大交流合作 共同打擊跨境犯罪(Legislative Yuan President Daniel K.Y. Han meets with Royal Thai Police Delegation President Han: “We look forward to expanding bilateral exchanges and collaborations with Thailand to combat cross-border crime”)
立法院韓國瑜院長於本（8月22）日上午在本院張裕榮副秘書長及國際事務處林晨富處長等人陪同下，接見「泰國皇家警政訪問團」一行16人。
On the morning of August 22, Legislative Yuan President Daniel K.Y. Han, accompanied by Deputy Secretary-General Chang Yu-Jung and Director of the Department of International Affairs Kevin C.F.Lin, met with a delegation of 16 members from the Royal Thai Police.
韓院長首先熱情向訪賓致意並合影留念，隨後致詞表示，這是他上任六個月以來，首次正式接待來自泰國的貴賓，謹代表中華民國立法院表達誠摯歡迎。他繼稱泰國是被佛祖保佑的國家，人民善良充滿陽光，風調雨順國運興旺，加上泰國人民奮鬥努力，因此台灣人民對泰國的印象甚佳，他祝福泰國國運昌隆，百姓平安健康。他續謂泰國與台灣貿易往來成績斐然，泰國也是台灣人民出國觀光旅遊的首選之一，期盼台泰共同珍惜相互交流及雙邊情誼，也籲請泰國警方多關照台灣遊客。他提到近年來東南亞各國經濟蓬勃發展，希望未來台灣與泰國及其他東南亞國家能加深更多經貿、觀光、科技、體育、文化等領域交流，共創互利共榮之局面，期盼雙方友誼長存。
President Han warmly greeted the delegation and took a commemorative photo with them. In his speech, he noted that this was his first official reception of guests from Thailand since taking office six months ago and extended a sincere welcome on behalf of the Legislative Yuan of the Republic of China. He remarked that Thailand is a country blessed by Buddha. The country has a compassionate and hardworking population while the nation is highly prosperous with a favorable climate. As such, many Taiwanese people think very highly of Thailand. He expressed his best wishes for Thailand's continued prosperity and the health and safety of its people. He also highlighted the impressive trade relations between Taiwan and Thailand and mentioned that Thailand is one of the top destinations for Taiwanese tourists. He hoped that both sides would cherish mutual exchanges and bilateral friendship and encouraged the Thai police to take good care of visiting Taiwanese tourists. President Han also expressed his desire for Taiwan to deepen exchanges in areas such as trade, tourism, technology, sports, and culture with Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries to mutual benefit, and thus help solidify the friendship between the two countries.
彭披塔‧陸恩永副總局長致詞時首先感謝院長撥冗熱情接待，他表示本次訪台係就預防跨國犯罪議題與台灣相關單位深度交換意見，希望雙方未來能多加互動及擴大合作，泰國警政機關將給予台灣相關必要協助，並感謝「泰國工廠警察國際協會」邀請該團來台，期盼未來台泰各方面合作順利，特別是在共同打擊犯罪方面，亦承諾將續與台灣緊密合作。
Deputy Commissioner Pornpitak Ruyuenyong expressed his gratitude to President Han for the warm reception and stated that the visit aimed to discuss issues related to preventing cross-border crime and to exchange in-depth views with the relevant Taiwanese departments. He hoped for increased interaction and expanded cooperation in the future, with Thai police providing necessary assistance to Taiwan. He also thanked the International Factory Police Association for inviting the delegation to Taiwan and looked forward to smooth collaborations between Taiwan and Thailand, promising continued close cooperation with Taiwan especially in joint efforts to combat crime.
「泰國工廠警察國際協會」張文煥主席也非常感謝韓院長撥冗接見，「泰國工廠警察國際協會」成員多在泰國定居超過三、四十年，常說出外靠朋友，朋友間在互信的基礎下，相互扶持幫忙，才促成今日交流的機會，他很高興今日邀請到泰國五個不同政府單位的人員來台參訪交流，親自認識台灣文化特色及風俗民情，期待透過本次訪台，台灣人民到泰國移民，投資或觀光都可以受到更好的保障。
Chairperson Wen-Huan Chang of the International Factory Police Association also thanked President Han for his time and expressed that many members of the association have settled in Thailand for over 30 or 40 years. He emphasized the importance of having friends in a foreign land and noted that the strong support the two countries have for each other, built on the basis of mutual trust, was what made today's exchange possible. He was pleased to have brought with him representatives from five different Thai government agencies to visit Taiwan and experience Taiwanese culture and customs together. He hoped that this visit would lead to better protection for Taiwanese people moving to, investing in, or traveling to Thailand.
雙邊交流時，韓院長表示立法院有113席委員，專責處理各項法案及政府機關預算等事宜，在台灣政治上具有很重要的地位，其中女性委員有47位，比例高達41%，未來期盼雙方能有更多機會交流，加強交流合作並進一步提升雙邊實質友好關係。
During the exchange, President Han mentioned that the Legislative Yuan has 113 members responsible for handling various statutory bills and budgetary bills, holding significant sway over Taiwanese politics. Among these members, 47 are women, representing 41% of the total make-up. He also hoped for more opportunities for both sides to enhance exchanges and cooperation and to further strengthen the practical and friendly relationship.
此次會談歷約30分鐘，氣氛友好愉快，在雙方互贈禮品後圓滿落幕。
The meeting lasted about 30 minutes and concluded on a friendly and pleasant note, ending with the exchange of gifts between the two sides.
