江啟臣副院長昨（10）日晚間啟程出訪美國，預計美國時間11月11日上午抵達佛羅里達州，出席北美州臺商聯合總會活動，期間將會晤美國聯邦眾議員及當地政要。停留美國兩天後隨即前往法國，與法國議員進行深度且實質的對話交流。
Vice President Johnny C. Chiang of the Legislative Yuan departed for the U.S. on the evening of November 10 and is expected to arrive in Florida on the morning of November 11 (U.S. time). He plans to attend an event organized by the Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce of North America (TCCNA), in which he will meet with members from the House of Representatives and local political leaders. After a two-day stay in the U.S., he will then depart for France to carry out an in-depth and substantial dialogue with French senators.
江啟臣副院長表示，今年北美洲臺灣商會聯合總會第37屆第二次理監事聯席會議在美國佛羅里達州羅德岱堡市舉辦。主辦單位許久之前便熱情邀請，適逢美國大選結束，他將利用此行會晤美國聯邦眾議員，並與美國各界交換意見，瞭解美國當地對選舉結果的看法及對臺灣可能的影響。於美國短暫停留兩天後，江副院長隨即轉往法國與立法院法國訪問團成員會合。
Vice President Chiang noted that the 2nd Board of Directors Meeting of the 37th TCCNA is to take place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The organizer had extended a warm invitation long ago to Vice President Chiang to attend the meeting. As the U.S. election came to an end, he will use this visit to meet members of the House of Representatives and exchange opinions with various sectors in the U.S. to understand local perspectives regarding the election results and their potential influence on Taiwan. Following a short two-day visit in the U.S., Vice President Chiang will immediately proceed to France to join members of the Legislative Yuan who are part of the delegation visiting France.
受法國參議院邀請，立法院組成跨黨派的訪問團到法國進行交流，由江副院長擔任團長，團員有「臺灣與法國國會友好協會」會長林楚茵委員、「臺灣與法國國會友好協會」副會長邱議瑩委員、國民黨代表柯志恩委員、張嘉郡委員，及民眾黨代表林憶君委員。
Invited by the French Senate, the Legislative Yuan formed a cross-party delegation to visit France and conduct further exchanges. With Vice President Chiang leading the delegation, its members consist of Taiwan-France Inter-Parliamentary Amity Association President, Legislator Lin Chu-Yin, and Vice President, Legislator Chiu Yi-Ying, KMT Legislators Ko Chih-En and Alice Chang, as well as TPP Legislator Lin Yi-Chun.
江啟臣副院長指出，此代表團是法國參議院與立法院國會外交交流制度化的展現，過去兩年雙方已累積互來互訪之經驗，透過定期性、不間斷的互訪機制，建立互信與合作的對話平台。
Vice President Chiang mentioned that the delegation is an institutionalization of the parliamentary exchanges between the French Senate and the Legislative Yuan. Over the past two years, both sides have built a wealth of experiences through their interactions and mutual visits, establishing a dialogue platform of trust and cooperation through a mechanism of periodical and continuous exchanges.
江副院長表示，此次雙方將針對國際組織參與、假訊息之因應等議題交換意見，共同尋求未來雙邊更多的合作機會。他相信透過國會外交的力量，可以結交更多國際友人，讓他們瞭解臺灣民眾的熱情與真誠，未來在國際上繼續為臺灣發聲。
Vice President Chiang expressed that both sides will seek opportunities of cooperation regarding how to respond to participation in international organizations and misinformation. He believed that through parliamentary diplomacy, Taiwan can make more international friends, enabling them to understand Taiwan’s warmth and sincerity. By doing so, they will be more willing to speak up for Taiwan on the international stage in the future.
