王正旭委員談到，山形縣與台灣各大城市之間已有直飛航班往來，交通便捷，而山形縣盛產眾多知名農產品，如櫻桃及海外馳名的「十四代」清酒，廣受國人歡迎。委員進一步指出，作為一名癌症治療專業醫師，他對山形縣在癌症治療方面的領先技術深感敬佩，並肯定山形縣在健康醫療領域的持續發展，尤其是「2025健康及醫療中心」城市發展計畫，和賴清德總統致力於打造「健康台灣」的理念不謀而合，期盼雙方在健康醫療及城市治理上深化合作，共同推動雙方醫療體系交流進步。
Legislator Wang Cheng-Hsu mentioned that there are direct flights between Yamagata Prefecture and major cities in Taiwan, making transportation convenient. He also highlighted that Yamagata is known for its abundant agricultural products, such as cherries and the internationally renowned Shijodai sake, which are greatly appreciated by the people of Taiwan. The legislator further pointed out that, as a professional cancer treatment physician, he deeply admires Yamagata Prefecture’s leading techniques in cancer treatment and commends the ongoing developments in the field of healthcare. He specifically highlighted the 2025 Health and Medical Center urban development plan, noting that it aligns perfectly with President Lai Ching-Te’s commitment to building a “Healthy Taiwan.” He expressed hope for deeper cooperation between the two sides in healthcare and urban governance, with the aim of advancing mutual exchanges and progress in their medical systems.
張啓楷委員分享他對日本文化的喜愛，他表示自己是電視劇《阿信》的忠實粉絲，並笑稱自己與山形縣小松伸也議員與佐藤正胤議員是同年出生，當年無論是在台灣或日本，皆為了《阿信》劇情而感動不已。張啓楷委員認為，《阿信》艱辛奮鬥的成長故事，對台灣觀眾具有深遠啟發，這些共同的生活記憶加深了台日之間的情感連結，張委員並提及去年與副院長前往九州參加「台日國會議員足球友誼賽」，表示他對日台友誼的重視，盼在宜蘭、台中及高雄以外，能夠促成山形縣與嘉義縣締結姊妹市關係，進一步促進台日城市交流，誠摯邀請山形縣的好朋友們造訪嘉義，親身體驗阿里山的壯麗風光。
Legislator Chang Chi-Kai shared his love for Japanese culture, mentioning that he is an avid fan of the TV drama Ashin. He humorously noted that he was born in the same year as Yamagata Prefecture’s legislators, Komatsu Shinya and Sato Masatsugu, and that, back in the day, both in Taiwan and Japan, everyone was deeply moved by the storyline of Ashin. Legislator Chang Chi-Kai expressed that the inspiring story of Ashin, a tale of overcoming challenges and growth, has had a profound impact on Taiwanese audiences. These shared memories have deepened the emotional connection between Taiwan and Japan. He also mentioned that last year, he and Vice President Chiang participated in the "Taiwan-Japan Parliamentary Members Friendly Soccer Match" in Kyushu, highlighting his commitment to Taiwan-Japan friendship. He hopes that, in addition to the sister city ties between Yilan, Taichung, and Kaohsiung, efforts can also be made to establish a sister city relationship between Yamagata Prefecture and Chiayi County, further promoting city-to-city exchanges between Taiwan and Japan. He sincerely invited the friends from Yamagata to visit Chiayi and personally experience the magnificent scenery of Alishan.
隨後雙方續就台日城市交流、地方創生及觀光互訪等議題廣泛交換意見，氣氛友好熱絡，會晤歷約70分鐘，此次拜會在雙方互贈紀念品後圓滿落幕。
