President Han first extended a warm welcome to the visiting guests and joined the attending legislators in a group photo with the delegation to commemorate the occasion. In his remarks, President Han noted that the CCBA, founded in 1889, has a history spanning 136 years. He recalled that when Dr. Sun Yat-Sen sought to advance the democratic revolution, he visited the CCBA and received enthusiastic support and generous donations from overseas compatriots, who financed and contributed to the founding of the Republic of China to help bring about the founding of the Republic of China. He added that, to this day, the CCBA continues to display the portrait of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen and the national flag of the Republic of China, a gesture that commands deep respect and admiration.
