According to Article 2 of organic regulation of each Committee, Each Committee shall deliberate bills submitted by Legislative Yuan and petitions of the public. At the beginning of a session, each committee may invite government agencies concerned to make business reports and be present at the committee meetings to present their views.


According to Article 5(1)(iv) of organic regulation of Procedure Committee, this Committee is responsible to deliberate bills related to finance, monetary policies, budget, settlement of accounts, statistics and audit, and powers of Ministry of Finance, The Central Bank of the Republic of China (Taiwan), Financial Supervisory Commission of the Executive Yuan, and Directorate General of Budget, Accounting & Statistics of the Executive Yuan.
