According to Article 16 of Organic Statute of the Legislative Yuan, Secretariat undertakes the following operations:
Pertaining to receiving and sending, assigning of documents and auanging archirves.
Pertaining to drawing up, checking of drafts, and dealing with lettecs and telequams.
Pertaining to safekeeping of official seals.
Pertaining to matters about research, developing and controlling and assessing.
Pertaining to public relationships.
Pertaining to editing, releasing of news and commuicaions.
Pertaining to collecting, analyzing, arranging and holding of news data.
Pertaining to planning, designing and mamaging of audio-media in the Legislative Yuan.
Pertaining to communicating with the press and to in form the Legislators' activities.
Other matters related to secretarial functions.
Other operations not undertaken by other departments.
