According to Article 18 of Organic Statute of Legislative Yuan, Official Gazette Department undertakes the following operations:
Pertaining to taping and recording conferences of Legislative Yuan and Committees.
Pertaining to stenograph of conferences of Legislative Yuan and Committees.
Pertaining to editing, printing and issuance of Official Gazette.
Pertaining to printing of any kind of documents.
Pertaining to duplication and issuance of video and audio.
Other matters related to Official Gazette.
According Article 6 of the operation regulation of Official Gazette Department, the department sets up First Division to Fifth Division and the Printing Plant to undertake the following operation:
First Division: pertaining to stenograph and collecting primary draft for conferences of Home and Nations Committee, Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Committee, Sci-Tech and Information Committee, National Defense Committee.
Second Division: pertaining to stenograph and collecting primary draft for conferences of Economics and Energy Committee, Finance Committee, Budget and Final Accounts Committee, Education and Culture Committee.
Third Division: pertaining to stenograph and collecting primary draft for conferences of Transportation Committee, Judiciary Committee, Organic Laws and Statutes Committee, Sanitation and Environment, as well as Social Welfare Committee.
Fourth Division: pertaining to editing, printing and issuance and publishing on the website for Official Gazette, and other relative matters.
Fifth Division: pertaining to taping and recording conferences of Legislative Yuan and Committees, and duplication and issuance of the above tapes and records.
The Printing Plant: pertaining to printing of any kind of documents.
