The organic regulation of Constitutional Amendment Committee was passed by 34th conference of The Second Legislative Yuan second session, on January 18, 1994.
Powers and functions: deliberation of Constitution amendment bill, and matters related to Constitution.
Organization and means to create:
Total number of Legislators in this Committee is one-two of total Legislators in Legislative Yuan plus one more person. According to a formula of proportional representation among political parties (caucuses) and principle of minority caucuses participation, this Committee is organized by representatives who are selected by their political parties (caucuses).
This Committee shall have eleven summon Legislators elected by and from among all Legislators in this Committee.
The chairman of meeting shall be elected by and from among all Legislators in this Committee. Every Legislator shall be the chairman in turns.
This Committee shall set up various deliberation groups to deliberate bills.
Conference: there shall be present by one-third of Legislators in this Committee. The resolution shall be made by one-two of Legislators in this Committee.
Officers: the administrative officers are took charge by officers of Secretariat.
Execution and amendment of this organic regulation shall be passed by conference of Legislative Yuan.
