According to Article 5(1)(i) of organic regulation of Procedure Committee, this Committee is responsible to deliberate polices of interior affairs, election, Mongolian and Tibetan affairs, Mainland affairs, Aboriginal affairs, coast guard, and bills related to powers of The Ministry of the Interior, Central Election Commission, Mongolian and Tibetan Affairs Commission, Mainland Affairs Council, Council of Aboriginal Affairs, Coast Guard Administration, Executive Yuan.
According to Article 2 of organic regulation of each Committee, Each Committee shall deliberate bills submitted by Legislative Yuan and petitions of the public. At the beginning of a session, each committee may invite government agencies concerned to make business reports and be present at the committee meetings to present their views.
